Nice Nice, an impovsational, drum and guitar super-duo, will be playing the Met Cafe on Monday the 3rd with the ever entertaining Cex. It will be 8 dollars and start at 8 pm. It will also be fantastic. Don't miss this one, kids.
the show was fantastic. and the silent films were a wonderful surprise. all of us, everyone i was with, enjoyed the evening wholeheartedly.
nice nice will be lots of fun. because they're improvisational and because i've heard cex is a very charismatic performer it will be the sort of show you'll be able to enjoy without knowing the bands or their songs. and they're pretty cute.
ahem...for once in my life, Raf, it seems I am the one who stayed faithful to an awesome musicians who really did turn out to be wicked tight (like hillary duff-Arya) in the end. I'm talking, of course, about Cex. Of COURSE he's always entertaining, that's because he's one of the most original entertainers out there today. He is every genre of whiney and pretentious music rolled into a nutshell. It's excellent. I'm glad you enjoyed his presence. Tell me, how much did he rap?
