Raf, i am seriously touched. That is a beautiful interpretation of a beautiful song. Weird though this may sound, I feel like your version is EXACTLY the way it was meant to be done. You are talented, Raffy. I say this without any hint of sarcasm, seriously.

wow, david, thank you. that's really flattering. it's probably more a result of the circumstances than the singer(recorded into a phone at 1:45 am on a friday after an evening spent alone in my room, by my own choice, I should add. the song just seemed very appropriate at the moment)
is the new RMC going to happen?

hmm...see, I'd like it to. right now, it's just me and Ezra, but the gear list is impressive: two casios, microKORG synth/vocoder, DR-3 drum machine, and Ezra's supernice Kurzweil. I just need to get shit off the ground.

I remember you saying that your other favorite song from that Velvets album was "Jesus." Maybe you should cover that next?
