I agree that travel AND lack of travel can be guilt-inducing. I think it should be a personal decision based on personal finances and priorities. I have accepted that my lot in life doesn’t generally involve travel to destinations, but I feel like it’s important to “use the law of attraction” and just be open to possibilities and opportunities, but to be smart about your budget. I want to have a paid off house and retirement money some day, and I don’t want to be unreasonable about taking vacations... so I’m following the Dave Ramsey baby steps, and when I get to the point at which I’m allowed to have a travel budget, that’s when it’s on!
