How do you not decide to check out an employee not showing up for a month? How callous is that? And the part about the flowers is just... disgusting. How could someone be that insensitive? That'd be... what, four to ten, maybe twenty dollars for a single bouquet of flowers out of the expense? BIG FRIGGIN WHOOP.
I know. And I remember her too. We weren't close or anything, but she was a nice woman. She didn't deserve this kind of treatment.
Ugh probably. Even people in my brother's position gets treated horribly (they like...even hold back his paycheck sometimes on the premise of "You worked too many hours" or some bullshit like that).
It would make me so happy to see that company go under. Seriously, nothing of good has come out of that damn place.
Tell your brother to stop working there, seriously. It's not even that they won't send flowers to the family (which is downright rude and insensitive), but the fact that they didn't even check to see WHY one of their employees was showing up is just...my god. Like, my mind is boggled right now.
Yeah, I was against him getting that job in the first place and been telling him to quit ever since. :\ Hopefully this is a wake up call.
I think it pretty much shows that they really don't give a damn about their employees what so ever. I remember being treated like shit constantly when I was there...I just had no idea they'd go THIS low.
No kidding. I mean Carmike Cinemas make a fortune, they got the cash to spend.
But at the very least, my little brother decided to go buy flowers on his own. Which shows that he's a good guy - but really really doesn't make up for the fact how much that company is a piece of shit that needs to go to hell.
Yeah, it is entirely disgusting. And it wouldn't, especially when that place would rack in...at least $25,000 a night on weekends. There is absolutely no excuse why they wouldn't spend the money on it beyond them being greedy.
I'm speechless. That is just horrible. It is not even a large expense. Plus, if they have done it, it'll add on to whatever positive public image they have.

But I guess that's how much they appreciate their lower employees DX I'm seriously so pissed off at it.

Yeah, seriously. If it was a manager I bet it'd be a sobfest or something. And being pissed makes sense, that's just... god.

This has to be one of the few times I've actually hoped someone rots in hell once they die.
