Not actually spoilerish unless you haven't read any of the books....

Dear JKR,

Someday, when they outlaw the deus ex machina plot twist, you'll be first up against the wall. More to the point, when they start bowdlerizing dei ex machina (no, I will not pluralize the object of the preposition) from older books, the entire HP series will become available only in pamphlet form.

Sincerely,

Random

Yes, but in this magic trick, the magician starts to saw a woman in half and, instead of the usual "fake legs," the magician fakes a heart attack so he won't have to go through with the trick.

I'd like to see more magic tricks like that, but I'm a little odd.

These books really aren't that great, sort of the Episodes 1 of the fantasy world. The fury around them can only be explained by a hive mentality. So why do you read them? You are the least sheeplike of anyone I know.

Wow! Someone I met through Atpo who doesn't love HP! You've made me the happiest O'Cailleagh alive!

O'C! Long time, no chatter. Hope everything's going well with you, and am glad that I've managed to make you the happiest O'C alive...even happier than Fergus O'Cailleagh, the man with a Whiskey spring out back his house.

Good ol' Fergus. He always did have a bit of a spring in his step after that.
