I just got Dragon Quest VIII for Christmas.

I was going to put it into my PS2 to play it.

THE DISC TRAY WON'T COME OUT. THE MOTOR IS BROKEN.

DO YOU SEE THAT LITTLE FACE? NO.

BECAUSE NONE OF THE EMOTIONS IT DISPLAYS ARE CAPABLE OF PORTRAYING MY RAGE RIGHT NOW.

The gear may just be jammed... if you know how to take it apart it may just have to be put back on track.

XU I know exactly what the problem is. The motor for the drive burned out, and now it can't auto-open or close. And I can't force it because of the system's disc tray lock. Thus, stuck.And seeing as the warranty is now super-expired, I won't be able to just replace it.
