hello weekend!

I'm so glad this weekend has arrived. It's been a long week - parents came in early Monday morning, editing course application due in Wednesday, work work work... but the weekend is here and I get to sleep in tomorrow. I can't say I'm thrilled about my parents being here, but it'll be over soon. Course application was bleak - slept a total of ( Read more... )

Good for sending in your application. :)

What do you think of H & T so far? Char insists I post a review on LJ. ;)

And ooh, you're going to Fifteen! I didn't know there was one in Melbourne, too. I'd love to go there. Let me know how it was.

Thanks, lol, just glad it's done.

It's... pleasant. The One is the only one (lol) that reeeeally sticks out at the moment. Much more production than the first two, and the songs are more melodious, I thiiink (i.e. no Papa/C'est La Vie) but I'm not as thrilled as I thought I would be. Haven't listened to it on headphones yet, which might help.

Yes! Will do. I'm going with a friend's friends, so the social setting will be a bit bleak but it's all about the food.

The One is a great song. Give the album a few listens, that worked for Char and me. I agree that there's nothing that's a somewhat different, which is a bit of a shame.

Yes, it is. Cool. I think the waiting list in London is really long. I'm crushing a bit on Jamie. And his wife. ;)

How many course applications did you work on? And yay for being done! Slowly but surely, you're making some kind of progress ( ... )

Just the one. But bleh.

I actually think Linda Perry has helped with her melodic development, but... hmm, I don't know. Have to listen to it some more.

I KNOW!! omg Rachel is brilliant, though. I think they tooootally rushed into the Lena thing, if they had built it up a little more it could have been slightly more tolerable. I actually think Justin's storyline is alright, I mean, it's hard to get over addictions and stuff so maybe it's appropriate. And the whole pregnancy thing was quite cute! but overall, I think this season hasn't been as good, also see: Heroes.

Well, I'm still on the fence about Linda. She worked on This Time, The One, and Spring Street. Those songs aren't really melodic, aren't they?

Word on B&S and Heroes. Time to step it up, writers (after the strike is over)!
