This week on TV

Well, not sure if this will become a weekly thing but whatevs.

Brothers and Sisters - The whole Justin home-therapy was a bit implausible, wasn't it? and I'm sorry, Dave Annable, you may be the seventh-sexiest man according to People, but your acting range is a little limited. Calista Flockhart, meanwhile, appears to be gunning for that Emmy nod with all the crying she's had to do this season. Tommy and Lena over for the third time? I'll believe it when I see it. I'm wondering what they have in store for Sarah now that her custody story is over. Please don't waste Rachel Griffiths. I guess Danny Glover will be back now that Robert fired a quarter of his staff. And hopefully that and the Saul storyline will get the oldies more involved.

Heroes - Explanations! Kristen Bell's first full episode! She was so cute and evil and fun all in one. And please read this - oh Fug girls, I love you. Did anyone think that the whole Peter/Adam conversing thing was a bit suspect? I mean, as fat and stupid as he is, surely Bob could have figured that out. Or monitored it on hidden cameras. Or maybe it's all part of a bigger conspiracy... More gratuitous nudity but I suppose that's their angle this season. Niki has another personalities? Interesting. I thought she had the virus, but I guess I should have realised she didn't when she injected herself with it... or something. She did have the fashion virus this episode, with those fugfugfugly silver boots and then the weird top which made her chest look flat and squished. Maya and Alejandro... well, Maya is really pretty, I guess. But Alejandro is a fool. And *sigh* did we really need that explained? I mean, yes, we got it, she kills people, it's freaky, they're both freaked out and want help. Oh well. At least there was no Mohinder in this episode. And this series is definitely on the mend.

Pushing Daisies - Welcome back! Another fabulous episode. I liked the polygamy plot and how they related it to Ned and Chuck. And the writing, the writing, the writing. So funny. I also like that Olive is being integrated into the storyline, and painted as someone who is more sympathetic, instead of just being the annoying girl who has a crush on Ned. And Chi McBride is hilarious. I really hope they keep this up.

The Office - Last episode until the strike ends, and I was sorely, sorely disappointed. There were funny moments (Dwight and the ping pong players) but overall, I thought the whole ping pong story was lame and pointless. I normally think Kelly is hilariously annoying but this episode, she was just annoying. And Michael at the trial... parts of it were funny but I just thought that it wasn't the time or place to be this inane (also see: wedding, Phyllis') and it didn't really work for me.
