I guess the first week back in this little term and my fifth-last overall was alright. Wednesday night, I went with Holger, my hot German roommate, to have dinner at a German teacher's house and she made this amazing duck salad. Duck is such a good thing. Grumpy grumpy grumpy. I'd been doing so well until today too - the weather's been so gorgeous and I've been generally positive about everything, but right now I am grrrr. I shall try to take my mind off habitation taxes and annoying people by journalling about Italy.

I don't really know what to say. I guess I should talk about my weekends to Paris and Maastricht, but I don't feel much like it. They were mostly good, though Justine lost in Paris and I was really hung over and depressed one day in Maastricht. Went to Gent/Ghent/Gand (Dutch/English/French spellings for you there) yesterday for a day trip. I thought it might be good to explore somewhere by myself since I tend not to like it too much and I'll be doing it in Budapest for two days. Sleepiness. Having spent the weekend in Bruges, I find myself completely exhausted today, so I'm looking forward to getting some sleep tonight, though I bet I'll still be tired tomorrow. Such is life ( Read more... )
