Yes, two people well suited to each other indeed. This was great fun to read, although I do wish Indy had been able to remember a bit more about the previous night. Perhaps memories will return to him at a later date.
I cannot begin to tell you how overjoyed I am by your comment. Bless you. My retread 'zine stories seem to be sinking like a stone on the net. I kinda feel like Indy in Dial of Destiny, a sad old geezer whose day has passed, sitting in my recliner.
While we're at it, let's give a hand to Wanda Lyebarger for that gorgeous art. She did a lot of my stories back in the day. I looked her up recently and learned she had passed about a year ago. Her essay about the fanzine community, called Living the Dream, brought back memories for me. I hadn't heard the term 'Mediawestcon' in years.
My pleasure. Indy has been one of my favorite characters (since I actually am an archaeologist) for many years now. It was lovely to meet up with him again.
