I kept half-expecting there to be some kind of reveal that this wasn't the real Uther. I suppose, in a way, he isn't - they really went for that added detachment that horror-movies sometimes use once people have died. At least, I assume that's where they were going with that.

But yeah, it was a pretty great ep, and I especially love that it actually had forward movement rather than hitting the reset button. :)

Also, Uther was quite mad when he died, so it kind of makes sense that he is not entirely stable in the afterlife, and that death burned away everything except his obsession with maintaining the strength of Camelot (or his version of it, anyway).

Yeah, I was really, really worried that they were going to have Uther talk Arthur back onto the anti-magic train. So relieved that didn't happen. I would also love to know whether Arthur has condemned any magic users. They've made the point a few times that magic is still outlawed, but it doesn't seem like he's going out of his way to enforce it like Uther did.

Oh yeah, when Uther tried to out Merlin. I just thought, "That's the only reveal we'll get!"

I'm also glad they didn't do anything to make Arthur anti-magic.

I screamed a little, twice, during the episode when Uther came out of nowhere. I really liked the creepiness. I do also think that he was a little bit of an angry spirit and not entirely himself, cause I couldn't really get onboard with him saying Camelot was even more important than his own son.

Haha, the poetry scene, so funny!

I don't know, he seemed weirdly OOC compared to how he was just before he died.

Yeah, I kept on waiting for Uther's ghost to shift into some kind of 'real' evil form that just took his shape to manipulate Arthur. I don't know, I don't buy that he would kill his son, even all twisted and ghost-y.
