Fahrenheit 9/11

I haven't seen Fahrenheit 9/11 yet, but I probably will. I think it is important for people to remember that Michael Moore's documentaries are very accusatory and biased. I'm not saying there's not some truth in the film. I'm sure there is. I'm just saying I wouldn't take it all in as absolute fact. Leave a comment

I saw an interview with Moore on "The Daily Show" where he said that the movie definately has his opinions in it. He was pretty much all out there and said "of course this is what I think, here are the facts that I find, make up your own mind ( ... )

I personally think Michael Moore is a loony, extreme left-wing hypocrite, so I suppose my opinion is a bit skewed already. :-) About Bush staying in the room with the kids, he only stayed in there for like SEVEN MINUTES. I don't know why everybody thinks this is so awful and makes such a big deal out of it. What was he supposed to do, run out of the room cussing and screaming? He did cut the story-reading session with the kids short. And what difference does it make, anyway? I think that he did the right thing by not panicking in front of those kids. I saw an interview with Bill Clinton's Chief of Staff, and he vehemently agreed ( ... )

I'm having some issues with CNN of my own. Doug always reads the CNN sites from other countries instead because often the American one is so skewed. Everything is just glossed over and seems more of a front of what they wish America was and want to present to the rest of the world.

I refuse to put money directly into Michael Moore's pocket, so I will have to wait until HBO to see it.

On a side note, I was thinking about this last night: the Republican party has done a poor job of attracting young voters. I think there are many issues that the party stands for that are potentially important to young voters, but it is hard to get the message across when you have MTV and the school systems pushing a pro-Liberal message. :)
