I have a car! I wish you all could hear my "I have a car sitting in the driveway and it's mine, and you don't have one" song. It's quite something. I take out the "you don't have one" part for anyone who does actually have a car. My plan was to get one with the smallest back seat in history, to spite all the people who complained about leg cramps ( Read more... )

You don't by chance want to drive to Auckland on November the 11th do you? I was planning on going with Amber but she hasn't gotten back to me. I'll go halves on petrol!

lol j/k

I hope you enjoy your new baby! You could call her 'Nana'. :D

You know, I'd seriously consider it if I didn't have work on the 11th. I'm all for road-tripping. What are you going to Auckland for?

I was wanting to go to Auckland to see Ludwig's 3rd year recital. I thought maybe I could catch some singers recitals while I was up there and suss out whether I do infact want to go to Auckland to do honors at any stage. Other than that I just wanted to have fun and get out of Wellington.

Hey! If you can get out of work on the 11th or can switch with someone give me a bell! I'd be totally keen if you were, if not I'll just try and get sorted with a drivers lisense so I can go next year!

Sorry, there's not way I can get it off - if I swap a shift I have to arrange at least a week in advance, and it's way too late to get leave!

Eep! I didn't mean to make you miss all the food here! ;-)

I can empathize on some level, though. Here in Harrisburg, I miss food in Pittsburgh. You'd think it'd be the same, but there's an utter lack of ethnic food of any kind here. Goldfish crackers and toasted bagels I can have tons of, but try getting good Thai/Italian/Indian/anything-but-hamburgers-and-french-fries around here. It is indeed quite fattening. And dull, after a while.

Yeah, when I was actually in America I hated the lack of variety and how everything's so processed. I can't have it both ways, I guess!

You know, I'll seriously consider that. Nobody would get it, but how cool to have a car named after an eating utensil! And a person, of course. I think I will!

I have MSN messenger, under hannie_clare@hotmail.com. I'm not on it much, but when I am it's crazy hours which would probably suit you - I'd definitely love to talk!

Hey! you got a car... anonymous November 9 2005, 18:04:32 UTC
okay your car is lacking personality, here is what you have to do: get high, imagine you're a cute little boy called Jessy (that is if your car's cylinder capacity is less than 1.3 L, if it's more then according to your cylinder capacity and car size imagine the other you is something that goes with your car's specs) then have a very wired very unintelligent conversation with that other you. Play that tape every time you get in the car.

N.B: that doesn't really work...
