Woke up to frost this morning. I've been doing okay so far this year, I've only lost three buds off of one particular plant, and I'm not sure if that's due to the frost or due to a particularly hard downpour we got recently. But tonight looks clear, too, which as often as not means more frost, at least in this neck of the woods. So I busted out my

Yes, it IS pretty! tho, not the way we want to see it being pretty.. SO sorry, Fe. Will it open, I wonder, given water and a little light?

I do not know, but that is the plan -- it can live in its shotglass and we can hope that it opens up. Mostly I just feel like a lummox - try to do something good for the plant, finish by breaking off its flower spike, sheesh.
We did get frost, btw.
