Spring carnival here in Australia, and today is one of Australia's premier racing events, the Caufield Cup.

As this is my favourite race on the Australian calender, I will be placing a bet as per usual. I can't look past Serenade Rose and Our Smoking Joe for some reason this year.

In the past few days I have had some really good interviews. The kind where I am told to go away and think about it and if I like the company to give them a call back to organise another interview.

Two jobs as a resourser (recruitment talk for coandidtate manager/searcher) and one as a legal recruiter.

Lets see if I can nail at least one of them!

I just had my first invoice issue for my contrct work.  The issue, I had not been paid yet.  I thought that a big enough issue to chase up, so I called my contact in Melbourne (that sounds so cloak and dagger!) and asked him to chase it up for me and see if I had been paid or if I had not ( Read more... )
