Yeah, that usually how it was for most of us fans back then. KYAH!!! My dad IS still Japanese after all (technically of 'Sansei' decent). Plus, he's a big fan of Higashino-sensei's works. You could say that my Japanese proficiency has become quite 'diluted' as my Japanese blood's. ~(o_O)~
