I imagine he's currently holding a squirming tribble in a pair of calipers. :D pleasesmirk November 28 2009, 16:27:35 UTC
I'd quite like to know too. They keep attempting to chew on my notebook.

The Rani is totally not petting one right now. >.> rani_ushas November 28 2009, 16:30:25 UTC
They seem to be remarkably voracious creatures, though otherwise harmless.

...totally not. nope. not at all. pleasesmirk November 28 2009, 16:36:37 UTC
I'd rather they didn't practice their voraciousness on my property, that's all.

I found an entire litter in my sock drawer.

Somehow I now have an entire litter.

Curious life-forms. They appear to consist almost entirely of digestive tract and reproductive system, with only a rudimentary nervous system.

Have you tried removing all the hair from a live one yet? It's quite a sight.

It doesn't seem to accomplish very much, though. There's no skeletal structure to speak of and only the slightest cartilaginous framework to keep it together.

One of them got into some of the seed samples I brought back from the island. Interestingly, it has not reproduced, though it's doubled in

Ah, no, there it goes. Only it seems to have produced a much smaller litter-three rather than the usual ten or twelve. Interesting. This merits further study.

Don't feed them. It seems that their food intake is directly related to their fertility.
