Of course, Rani, I'll be there shortly.

spam's fine. Also oops, didn't realise Alastair was going to be making mischief today. rani_ushas May 20 2010, 13:53:04 UTC
As soon as the Rani had determined that the locusts were, in fact, ordinary Earth locusts, and that all the other phenomena were matters largely beyond her ken, she decided that her work was quite finished for the time being and decamped for the CES rather earlier than she'd planned.

Martha would find her under a silver-leafed tree. She had been writing short, cryptic notes to herself, but now was simply sitting in thought, staring into the distance.

Martha had been worried about the locusts, but decided given that she hadn't sent a message checking on her inmate since the flood (which she actually felt quite bad about. When the hell had she gotten so selfish? She was just...) she would most definitely make time for her now. Martha frowned quickly before she entered CES, feeling decidedly not good for reasons she couldn't quite name. There was something that she should have done, but she couldn't think of it at the moment.

When she walked into CES, Martha smiled reflexively at the silver-leafed tree and the orange skies. She stuck her hands into her pockets as she walked over to the Rani, clearing her throat softly so she didn't startle the woman right off. "Hello." There had been a moment where she simply was going to start apologizing, but in the end she decided against it, not wanting to put the Rani off when she had been the one to request this meeting.

"Martha Jones." She thought about standing, but decided that she was too comfortable here, and made a sort of hand-wave at Martha. "Sit, if you like."

Yes.

There's no need to rub it in.

Although, given the amount of 'oh, Gods, what did I do?' we're getting around here, it's a bit of a surprise.

Can't you take a joke, Swing

If nothing else, it is interesting to see what elements of personality remain the same when memory and experience is removed.

It was surprising how much some people changed, actually.

I would consider it a loss of inhibition, mostly. Removal of the "issues" that plague them, the personal ties that bind, and so forth.
