Am I alone in thinking that the ES21 fandom here at LJ is gearing toward a less satisfactory atmosphere? For example, here and here. It hasn't generated into a cesspool of aspersion yet, but I am not comfortable with its current condition. XD nah it's not that. >_> I didn't really think the comm would grow that big... and it's just something I created since no one seems to be making an eyeshield comm. XDDDDDDD;;;

I feel so bad that I've hardly done anything for the comm... discussion wise. :x I didn't really want it to be a "sharing" only community >_> But I'm not good at thinking of discussion stuff either since.. well XDDD I don't even like over-analyzing things often to discuss something.

Ah, good. *sigh of relief* I think having a place of common interest is a good thing and naturally it's gonna grow larger because the series appeals to many people. What you've done is providing that haven. XD

When it comes to a certain point, I also think the comm won't settle for a 'sharing' only community because unlike you and me, who don't like over-analyzing things and are content with little speculations, there are fans of opposite nature. Discussion-wise, the comm is doing well. ;)

I just dropped in to say thanks to you and people like you, who help make a fandom into a fandom. That is, a place where fans of a series can meet and exchange stories, talk about things, make crack pairings and ideas etc. Makes all the translating worth it.

I thank you for translating the chapters. It's because of you that the fans are able to catch up with the latest development in the series and proceed to expand the fandom. Your efficient work is invaluable and much appreciated.

Came on this rather late, but I apologize if I've contributed to making the comm less comfortable for you or anyone else. I just have this knee-jerk reaction to being poked by anonymice, much less over the pairings I choose to write... I KNOW it's not worth getting worked up over, but. *sigh*

And similar to what I said to anonspore in my previous comment, you were not the instigator of the problem, so there's no need for apology. You were defending your work and that was it. My concern was with those who couldn't tolerate other people's preference and felt the need to bring them down. The community and fandom don't need that.

It was an accident, actually... I was trawling around to feed my insatiable appetite for HiruMamo (I love the pairing, why why why can't I WRITE it?!) and when I picked the es21 tag in your journal, this rant came up. And I wanted to apologize because even though I don't feel I've started any fights, I'm aware that I sometimes overreact when people pick fights with me.
