Beautiful. Hard to say considering the circumstances surrounding this fic, but it captures the heart of Mamori and the team. I loved the last part the best starting from the last full chapter. The most emotion was carried there with those few sentences.

Absolutely true.

There was always that one mutation in the DNA that made it possible for extremes to happen, to exist. He just indirectly witnessed the presence of one.
This makes me laugh considering Hiruma's ears are pretty much a mutation compared to everyone else, too.

Let's hope Hiruma wakes up screaming insults and firing bullets soon.
