But trying to keep my mind in check all I kept thinking about was what I think is the best horror movie of the year, HOSTEL. Im sorry to hear about your grandfathers passing Trav. I know we haven't really been close for a while, but I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

As for Hostel, I thought it was ok. I felt like the pace of the story could have been more consistant. I didn't really get involved with the characters much either. There were some predictable moments, which was kind of a let down for me. I enjoyed Saw (1 & 2) and The Devils Rejects more then Hostel.

Speaking of Remakes ... I took Kelly to see Final Destination 3. They ran a trailer for a remake of The Hills That Have Eyes. I mentioned to Kelly that it was a remake of an older movie by Wes Craven. She made me proud when she told me she didnt want to see the remake, but she wanted me to take her to rent the original at hollywood video.
