Nice story and really well written! No way I would have taken back somebody so easily if they'd done all that to me, but I like a happy ending :)

I agree with you Jensen let him off lightly, but I like to think Jensen was being pragmatic he loves Jared so he has two choices give him another chance or live without him. Actually I'd like to explore what happens next at some stage. Jensen has to try and slot back into live with the circus as well as fixing his relationship with Jared. There's bound to be angst a-plenty and many trust issues. Probably lots of fighting and make up sex!

Maybe once my bigbang is finished!

I'm with you on that, I want a sequel too. I like the idea of them trying to work things out, rebuilding trust etc. Yup definitely one to mull over!

Wow, that was a really emotionally charged story! I was just in knots over Jensen - all his emotional and physical pain!! The betrayal with Gen was just horrifying, and then the accident - yikes. I think it was really brave of Jensen to give Jared another chance, and I just hope Jared doesn't blow it. I'd love to read more here, now that the first movement towards reconciliation have take place it would be interesting to see what happens next.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I like to think that it takes more courage to give someone who's betrayed your trust another go, and I would like to explore it further. It wouldn't be an easy road, but Jensen's not a quitter! Jared would have to work hard to regain his trust though. I'm also keen to see what would happen if Jensen had to hang around the circus again. But I've got to finish the bigbang first!

I'm sorry but no. This story just perpetuates that stereotype that as long as the guy comes back and says, "I want another chance" then you should give it to him. Just for once, I'd like to see the guy work for it.
