i'll admit to recently stocking up on canned goods. but it has way less to do with any spaceships dropping from the sky, and far more to do with the entire country rocketing towards martial law. i've never been a fan of the aliens-will-save-us theories, but these days it's looking like thats the only thing that would change anything in this fucked-up little world...
