My tub gave birth to a rat.
Over the last few months, I noticed the water taking longer and longer to drain from my tub-shower. Last night, I found myself standing in a puddle of soapy water.
No fun. Grabbed the plunger, plugged up the overflow, and went to work. Still no relief. Definitely not fun.
This is definitely beyond the capabilities of a plunger. Off to Harbor Freight for a drain snake. After much snaking, swearing, and noise at 1am, this came out.
Yes, that's all ONE blob that came out of the drain. It was dense enough to jam the snake, hence the swearing.
... and before anyone says it, yes, I use a hair catcher.
