ATTENTION HALLWAY CHICKS: Remember that time when we were totally going to start our own webcomic/sketch journal/what-have-you collective? If you're still interested in resurrecting "Project Uber Ubiquitous," then leave a comment here and then get your art on!

[EDIT]: It looks like Comic Genesis requires that we provide a sample of our work ( Read more... )

ADD artists UNITE- oooh, shiny! rantypants January 12 2006, 19:50:48 UTC
Hooray! That's cool. If I remember our original plan, it was to (eventually) each have a day (or more) of the week that was ours to update on, if we wanted to. By pooling our efforts, we might just be able to wangle something akin to a regular update schedule...

(dibs on wednesday)

Hallway Chicks explained! rantypants January 12 2006, 23:44:37 UTC
It's a group of awesome folks that used to eat lunch together in one of the secluded hallways of our maze-like high school. We tried to start a comics collective once, but it fell by the wayside.

As for "standards of admission," I alone don't really have the authority to invite or turn away new folks, since it's a group effort...and we're currently still waiting to see how many of the old crew still want revive it...everything's still pretty nebulous at this point.

I'm sorry that I can't give you a better answer at the moment!

Comic Genesis doesn't really review things much, as long as it's a neat drawing that abides by their rules, it's fine. I mean, they accepted *mine*, and I suck at drawing, completely. Although, I should warn you that the Comic Genesis process takes like 2+ weeks.

Thanks for the input; your stuff isn't bad.

I'll probably need at least that long to form some kind of meager buffer.

I don't care much about what day I get. I'm not much of an artist, but I guess I could try. I did start something called "World Domination Comics" in Int'l Studies last year.
