sort of a fic update

It's not really fic proper, more stream of consciousness back story, but hey, it's something! :D

This is Joe's (from that little piece of original fiction I wrote a couple weeks ago) back story. 513 words of where the hooker with the heart of gold came up from.

Aw, shit, Joe. I thought, "Like the loss of his parents was bad enough, but then the rest of that shit just screwed him. So bad." But then I thought, "Well, he might not have been there if his parents hadn't passed. Weed helped him cope with the loss and maybe put him at that party. And even if not, he would have handled it better if his parents had been there to support him, no couch hopping etc." And that really hit me, like how alone Joe is in the world. I keep thinking about the day Marcus finds out what happened to him. Also I would love a piece about Joe and the year his parents were sick and then passing on. It could be so raw to read.

it makes me very happy you like my original character. Marcus doesn't react very well when he eventually hears the story from Joe. He's very overprotective ya know, and by this point, even though Joe isn't really over it, he treats it like it doesn't matter, like it's a throw-away event and the therapist in Marcus zeros in on it like whoa. It leads to their one major fight which leads to Joe giving up pot to prove he can and that doesn't end well. He's so tightly strung he very nearly snaps.
