in need of an idea

Here's the thing, I still haven't come up with a plot or even a workable idea of a plot for the Gabriel Big Bang. I've written for it before, and I really want to write for it again, but all I have is one scene of a conversation between Gabriel and Anasi set after Gabriel confronts Lucifer and is killed. What kind of story are you looking to write here? Romance, action, comedy? Canon, alt universe or au-au, like deviant from canon or completely au? Give me some parameters to work with, lol! But seriously, give me an idea of what you're thinking of and I'll give you some plot bunnies that'll hopefully nibble at your toes.

I've sort of got an idea or two, but they're just not going anywhere. I was thinking gen fic, mostly canon compliant, with Gabriel coming back to life after the fiasco at the Elysian Fields. He comes back, but without his angel powers, he's a pagan god for real now, but what the heck does he do when he comes back? That's the part that has me stuck. I'd like to get at least Castiel in the fic too.

Or, some kind of completely au slashing him with Dean. Yeah, I don't know either. Mostly, all I come up with when I try to think of plots are stories I read that did the idea better than I could.
