it's a remake life
In the past week I've watched four different remake/re-imagining of earlier shows. There really isn't an original thought left in hollywood, that or the people who make shows now are so caught up in reliving their glory days, or their youth, they can only imagine shows that are the mirror of those days

Two remakes come to mind that were as good (or in the case of RD, better) than the originals. Red Dawn and the new Ghostbusters. Also the third installment of the new Star Trek films. I loved the first one, the second one was blah for the most part, but the third finally captured what Star Trek is meant to be about while maintaining the fun level of the first reboot. Really really enjoyed the new Ghostbusters.
I know we disagree on Steve/Catherine but my heart was broken last season when they pulled that crap. Just live happily ever after already! They're never gonna give us Steve/Danny, so I'll take Steve/Catherine as a second runner up, no problem. I really like her a lot and think she's good for Steve. Haven't watched any of this season yet (so don't know why I read that paragraph about the season premiere, lol) but I'm glad to hear they aren't done with Catherine yet!
