I'm sorry about the passing of your cat. Now I don't think Tom is so old!
And I'm surprised to see you are working again but glad, too. And to see you taking on the lighter roles now you are reaching that year with a zero in it :P
I haven't read all you entries, hope to get to them soon :)
Hi! I'm so happy to be back working. Of course this week I leave for Alaska on a vacation - but that is because work is very slow right now.
Rhinog lived to be a ripe old age. I do miss her, but I am really looking forward to a kitten with fewer big issues!! Glad to hear that Tom is doing well.
Hi! I have misplaced my Dreamwidth login, so I'll comment here. It's great to hear that things are well with you; good for you for having the courage to speak up about "senior union members" needing lighter work. I'm glad it paid off. I'm sorry to hear about Rhinog. 18 was when my old kitty lady passed, too; I think that must be the equivalent of the eighth decade in cats. Hoping for photos of Lace soon! Sounds like things are coming along well at the ranch. Someday (heaven only knows when) I will get back to San Francisco and we can have lunch or tea again.
Good to hear from you!! Um, this is DW, and you appear to be logged in....
I will take more photos soon of Lace. She is greying out a lot, her head is turning white! I want to ride more, I'm really hoping to start going on short trail rides.
How bizarre, I commented on LiveJournal! The mirroring must be better than I realized. It's still no excuse for me not digging up my DW info one of these days.
So Lace is turning out to be a grey rather than a roan? Has she gotten taller, or stayed that nice mount-from-the-trail height?
I think you were right about the LJ thing. My reading list is in a very different color scheme than my journal entries appear. Entries look much more like DW.... and I almost never look at my own journal here.
Lace has grown like the proverbial weed. I hope she won't grow more, right now she's still more or less mountable, but much more and I'll be whining. She's still really beautiful. I was looking at her the other day and thinking that she is going to be my extra easy keeper! Right now she is a really good weight, but she is also the fat horse in the herd.
Hmm.. for some reason I had read from the May entries back, I didn't think I did that without a link. I am glad to see you answering comments here on LJ. I know once you asked us not to comment here because you had trouble replying to them, and there is no need to reply to this one - I just wanted to say I am glad you are working, you expressed yourself with love to your coworker and am sorry about your cat's passing. Oh, and hurrah on the advancement of the red/black barn refurb.

I'd love tea or lunch or whatever.
