The power guy just stopped over let me know that my electricity would be out at 12noon, to switch the house over to the new lines they've been building for the past couple of weeks.

After pouting a bit, I asked "is it at least better tasting with more nutrients and less calories?"

He didn't get it.

Our power lines were recently upgraded where we live, too. Though we got letters in the mail explaining the outages. You got personal service. I'm jealous.
