Maybe that's all doctor-speak for "You stubbed your toe really bad. Have some ice cream"?

Good luck!

The little toe is the most interesting part without any skin on the pad. I would love some ice cream instead of lots of tests. On the other hand now that I'm in the hospital, they might as well do their worst (best?)

Come to think of it my grandmother had some weirdness with clots at the bottom of her toes. Didn't seem to spend a lot of time getting worse, at least.

Glad they've gotten far enough along to decide they don't have to freak out :)

Thank you. Your insistance was a factor in getting on the phone and moving this forward. I appreciate you taking the time to show your concern (well, that counts for anyone but certainly includes you :-) )

Nothing described there should hurt, and hopefully if they can fix it you get to keep your toe.

If the stick for bloodwork is the worst I will be very happy. Thanks for alaying (iPhone wants to say slaying) my fears. That angiogram didn't sound exciting, so I hope I don't have to do one.

(hope your tummy flu is better!)

Angiograms aren't that bad. Weird, but not bad.

Dying from a toe ick is particularly ignoble. So don't do that.

Good luck!
