? What is an interior butterfly? And is the 4-beat corkscrew the same as a double corkscrew (two lower, two upper)?

Whatever the answers may be: congrats!

Hmmm...

What you call a double corkscrew (2 lower, 2 upper) is what we call a corkscrew.
A 4-beat corkscrew is 4 lower, 4 upper.

An interior butterfly starts from butterfly, then the poi move between your arms and your body.

Hope these explanations make sense. :)

I have been corrected...its an inside butterfly, not an interior butterfly.

Now I'm curious. Does poi terminology vary from region to region like Middle Eastern dance terms do or because poi originates in one place is the terminology fairly standard?

I started learning ME dance when I lived in CA and when I moved back to NY I had to relearn the names of all the moves I knew.

Greebo: usually used for a guy, with NO chance, who goes up to a girl and hits on her. I use it also for people who are just...skeevy
