Reminds me of the time I dressed as an Orion to bellydance at a Sci-fi convention. I had one guy approach me and tell me he'd been dreaming of me his entire life. Another asked if he could kiss me. I couldn't walk 10 steps without some guy stopping me for a picture.

I have no problems with people who are fans of a tv show or movie....but when it gets to be all consuming, then its kind of...odd. :)
