So, I did start with NaNoWriMo and I have to tell you, I am having FUN with it. I am a bit behind on the word count because I was lazy after boxing (did three nights this week) and a little intimidated by the idea of writing the second chapter but last night, I just picked up my notes and started writing and it literally wrote itself! I have just finished my first day of Nanowrimo. I went with the Viking story. It's already started off a little different than I thought. It occured to me that 50k words is a LOT so the stuff that I wanted to do nice and pretty and neat and concisely isnt' going to happen. something new
So my face has been on fire and I have had a sporadically (and mild) runny nose the last few days. Today I woke up, put through the sms to michelle and had an ear ache (not unusual and it doesn't usually last long) fell asleep again. Debt news...
Today I am very proud of us. At one stage we had 3 credit cards and a personal loan between us. Today, the remaining debt we are aiming to pay off this year equates to just one of those old credit cards ( Read more... )
