I have heard she is an awesome author and I heard also this is a different type of book for her. I would like to read her vampire stories as well!

Slaughterhouse-Five is an amazing book that I read on a two hour flight. One of my favorite books of all time.

ANYTHING by Kurt Vonnegut is brilliant, especially Slaughterhouse Five. A true 'modern classic'. Oh, how I love that man...

PZB is great, I've read everything up until Liquor and her style is just amazing. Unfortunately the new stuff has yet to be published over here so I can't get my mitts on it.

HP Lovecraft... Well, if it wasn't for him many of the finer horror writers would never have picked up a pen! It can be demanding (some of the dream stuff is pretty heavy going), but it's always worth it. I think my favourite story is The Cats of Ulthar (sp?), because it really captures the essence of cat.

Don't know the last one, so I can't comment. Let us know if it's any good!

I'm a rabid Vonnegut fan and Slaughterhouse Five is one of his best. I've also read and loved Cat's Cradle, Mother Night, and Breakfast of Champions by him, and am currently reading God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater.

He is brilliant, thoughtful, and incredibly imaginative. In short, the kind of crazy old man you'd let tell you stories at a bar if you ran into him. Enjoy!
