I'm trying to redo the suggestion page so that it will be in alphabetical order by the author's last name. I also need to go through the fanlistings cause I know some have moved or no longer exist (if you've seen any broken ones, please let me know). Virgin Suicides was good. Did others like it here? I see it as the author having Middlesex already in the works. So much was taken from VS and worked into the next book. It was well worth the wait, his epic won some prize.

I'm having trouble chosing between classic literature and current pop novels. And there are some I haven't read but I heard good things about. So, I have to catagorize The Picture of Dorian Gray for a classic I will always remember and was a definite page-turner. Most fun read is The Princess Bride. I also love it because there is a true story behind the writing about true love. and for new I guess I'll pick Memoirs of a Geisha though I haven't read it. But I will before the movie. There are many other exceptional books, but I like original writing, not something that can be compared like it is a cross between this author and that author, ya know?
