Looking for a Book
Sorry if this is unwelcome, but I read of this book once and can't remember anything but a vague plot summary, and I'm trying to find it so I can read it. Being a comm of other people who read a lot of books,
The book was set in a dystopian future where most people were sterile and women were very dispowered. I think that the society was based on a corrupted version of Christianity, but I could be wrong. I think there were two classes of women, the sterile ones and the fertile ones. The protragionist was one of the lower-class women, and I think she falls in someone she wasn't allowed to or something like that. I'm not quite sure about the actual plot, but I thought the setup was nifty enough to remember it a few months later.
