I read the book Tales of a Female Nomad (interesting nonfiction/adventure) and had the opportunity to meet the author, Rita Golden Gelman. I went for the 'writing process' questions, because every author's answers are always so diverse. I like to know if they keep a personal journal, to see if they write about their literary challenges or successes. When encountering writer's block, do they have a process they go through or is it different every time... these are general questions, not specific to the book you read (obviously), but I'm always fascinated with the blank canvas and how they filled it.

I will be meeting a fairly well-known author who is part of the focus of a class within my English department, Connie May Fowler. She is actually going to be featured in my college's literary magazine, which is pretty cool. I have read Wise Blood, but I am terrible at developing questions;) I hope you can think of some good ones!
