So I read the books in reverse order.

But I must say The Pact was one of the best books I have ever read.

It was so good, I went to the mall with it in my purse, and ended up sitting on a bench and reading the whole thing.

It is the only book that has made me cry.

So I hope that everyone does read it!

I read that book a while ago when it was first mentioned in this community, and i couldn't put it down. I just had to know what happened. And it made me cry too. I usually don't get that involved in a book.

And several scenes have already made me feel like I was about to cry (though I didn't cry yet!). At first I didn't like how many characters were introduced at once and it was so predictable and typical and stereotyped, but for some reason I can't put it down and it seems to be getting better...now I HAVE to know what really happened so I'm gonna finish it. I like that the book starts off with Emily dead and we only see glimpses of her when they do flashbacks...it keeps the book interesting. Of course, it also makes it kind of biased cause from Chris and her parent's point of view she seems like the most perfect girl in the world. I guess that's why I keep reading though...to see what would make her want to kill herself if her life was so perfect. I also like how you get to see what a suicide victim's family goes through after they're gone. I know when I was younger I thought about doing it many times, but one main thing that stopped me was picturing what my family would have to deal with besides just the death.
