A Passage to India
Well, I finally finished E.M. Forster's A Passage to India over the weekend. I think it is poignant for the time it was written. I think the general theme of the novel is an idea that most people would agree upon, that the Brits aren't superior to the Natives, nor is any group of people superior to another group of people. It's been pretty quiet around here. I was just wondering if anyone finished Babbitt. I made it a little over halfway through it, and then I didn't finish reading it. It's a big deal for me to quit a book in the middle, but I just couldn't finish that one. It seemed so mundane and repetitive.
