It was a week ago tonight that Mr.Met allegedly gave the middle finger to a baseball fan at CitiField during a NY Mets game.

But if mascots only have four fingers on each hand, how does one do that if actually lacking a middle finger?

If he intended to flip someone off, I can only assume whoever it was did something to seriously piss the mascot off. Guy is working in professional sports, I'm sure he's dealt with a lot of things prior to this. Gotta assume he's got the temperament to deal with a lot of shit.
