We both have the Antec 900 case (a little smaller than your one, basically) and it is AWESOME. So quiet!

If you're still thinking about monitors (probably not after the water heater, but you might someday) apparently the de-branded HP monitors are quite inexpensive. That's what the family here got me for that wintry holiday time. Mine's a 21" as opposed to a 24", but it's got crisp and accurate enough color production for most of my work, and it even tilts to a portrait orientation with an optional sensor to automatically flip the screen when you do it. (There is a 24" available.)

I have nothing worthwhile to say, is all, so I'm here late with my tangential facts that may prove useful in a year or so. =)

I'll probably start with games that have come out in the last few years that I've wanted to try, but could never play with my existing rig - Civilization IV, the latest in the Call of Duty series, Portal/Team Fortress 2, maybe Spore, and some others I can't think of right away. Upcoming games I'm looking forward to are Starcraft 2, Diablo III, and The Sims 3.
