I've got it!

[Jet got up and made his way to the door, sniffing beneath his scarf. It was taking a lot longer for him to get rid of this damned cold.

The sight which greeted him caused his blood to turn to ice water in his veins. Virginia was standing there carrying a package in one arm. But the other... Where her left arm should have been was nothing more than a bloody stump. Jet's eyes widened as he felt a scream of horror build in his throat.]

Shit! Virginia! Your arm! Fuck! [He made a move to grab her, to pull her inside or... something!] We have to go to the hospital. Now!

Oh shit! Fuck! [Jet caught her in both arms, his right hand pressed against the horrible wound. He had to the resist the urge to pull his hand away from the wash of hot, sticky blood.] Fucking hell... All this blood!

[Dammit, dammit, dammit! Think! What did Werner teach you about basic first aid...? He had to staunch the flow of blood somehow, or she'd bleed out before she could ever get to a hospital.]

Siddown! [He says this while pushing her down onto the floor. He's still ignoring the box Virginia had been holding... for now.] Just... stay calm, okay? Everything's gonna be fine. We'll get a doctor, don't worry...

[Ripping the scarf from his neck, he twisted it into a thick rope before winding it tightly around the bloody stump, like a make-shit tourniquet.]

-Unfortunately, staying calm basically involved passing out completely, laying her weight fully against him. She'd lost too much blood...-
