You assume incorrectly. The Union is actually a collection of guilds. We have organized religion, but I don't think it's anything on the scale of your world. But I don't really pay too much attention to stuff like that.

Things that have a scientific basis, but mainly magic and technology. It's what I study for a living. Religion isn't really scientific, so I don't really deal in it. To each their own, I guess.

A couple. There's a pink haired girl called 'Estelle' - her name's just about as long as yours, and a long-haired snarky guy called Yuri. It's funny how only my travel companions got teleported to this place, actually, if you think about it. This teleportation thing's really selective.

Hm. Apart from Jade, Saphir, and Ion, there's Gailardia as well. He's into fontech as well, so you would probably get along well with him if you kept your respectable distance, haha . Though I've heard that Luke, Tear, and Anise are here as well.
