are you afraid your paintings would be boring without the ornamentation?

No clue what you can mean.

I think that it is fairly obvious that the artist is talented enough where at this point ornamentation is a specific aesthetic decision. Hardly a fear. Personal opinion though, of course.

All of these are delightfully well done and I'm rare to say that.

Heh. Thanks, bub. I really do appreciate it, as well as you defending my honour. ;)

If the commenter did mean to imply that I haven't managed to keep my paintings simple when they ought to be, then you're right - it's definitely a choice, made not only for aesthetic reasons but also to illustrate my intended narratives.

Aw, yay. :D

I have an etsy (google "N.S. David" and you should be able to find my Facebook, website, and etsy) but there's nothing there at the moment. Too lazy to re-list items that weren't really selling. But really, I can make prints of pretty much anything, you just have to ask. They're not going to be archival prints, just photo ones, as I haven't got the money for anything fancy yet. So hit me up with a PM or anywhere else if you're interested!
