Does anyone else think "IT" was a stupid movie? Maybe it's because I didn't see it as a child but I was so bored. It was like an annoying rehash of the Nightmare on Elm St plot (evil being terrorizes children by taking the form of what they fear), the acting was horrible, and Pennywise is annoying/not scary unless you have a predisposition against

IT is the direct cause for my irrational fear of clowns, after googling the term would be 'coulrophobia'...

when i was a kid, i would always just watch the first half of IT because i had such a crush on jonathon brandis.

but i did have a predisposition against clowns, so even the first half was hard for me to watch sometimes.

lol Jonathon Brandis, I had to wiki him. Clowns have never really been an issue for me but Pennywise annoyed the shit out of me.

I loved it when I was younger but I watched it recently and it feels reaaally long. I kind of checked out mentally and only paid attention every couple of minutes. I love Tim Curry though so I'll always kind of have a soft spot for IT.

Have you ever seen The Orphanage?

RIDICULOUSLY LONG. If I hadn't been getting paid to "work" while watching it, I probably would've turned it off.

I really don't like Del Toro movies and the Orphanage wasn't terrible but I was very meh about the plot.
