I'll be damned...if this ain't Kansas, my eyes are going runny with all these fever dreams. And what is that whiny warping noise on the wind?

I grew up in St. Louis, see...and now the signs are telling me I'm almost 200 miles from home?  But what the devil's happened up here? Looks like topside hasn't had much more luck than Rapture, bodies piled up ( Read more... )

Just when we were starting to settle down.

I never thought I'd see the surface quite like this. All these old bodies, everything's overgrown.

It's been a while since anyone's set foot here. We should be careful.

Times sure have changed...unless World's End really means our own world met end times. What's all the warbling in the air, and the sky looking like mercury?

I don't know, but someone said a disease swept through here.

It was a deadly flu of some kind. They also said it was 1986.

Could we have really been in World's End that long?

This looks like Kansas, but it can't be the real one. Nothing like this ever happened where I'm from, and I was born in Kansas.

Yup. Better than dead bodies cloggin' up the place an' a world where we don' belong. No' that we belong back there, bu' I have a problem with a place like this.
