HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!!

Alright, is it me or does that sound lame? Deathly hallows? It sounds so...morbid. I don't know, call me insane but I think the other titles were much better. At least Half-blood Prince had an air of intrigue to it. This just sounds...weird...

I don't like it because it's an adverb. I'm allergic to adverbs. I liked 'Harry Potter and the Pillar of Storge.' Now that had potential! Haha...

I think the best title so far was HP and the Chamber of Secrets. Sinister but intriguing. What chamber? Whose secrets? Can I learn them? XD

oh I completely agree. It's definitely the adverb. Of all the titles so far, this one has the least intriguing sound to it somehow. Goblet of Fire...well, that wasn't too bad either. Half-Blood Prince, I liked. Prinsoner of Azkaban was also interesting, since we didn't know who Sirius was...Order of the Phoenix sounded really cool until I found out it was an organization.

Overall, I've liked all the titles but this one. Somehow..it feels...off. But then again, I really really don't want the end of the series to come, have built up high expectations, and am hoping for impossible endings. So yeah. Basically, everything I want is never going to happen.

*sigh*

I wish JKR liked dark! as much as I do...Now there would be a revolution of a lifetime...killing Harry Potter. To hell with the happy endings and stereotyped heroes!

Yeah, this is the first title that sort of jarred me and I thought... eh, weird. Although perhaps it is the fact that it's the last one, goodbye, the end... *cries*

I wish JKR did darkness, as well. My favourite kind of ending is bittersweet and unexpected. Maybe she'll give us a pleasant surprise though... fingers crossed!

I've been complaining to anyone and everyone about the title. Like you, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for better content than what the title suggests. Who knows? Maybe the dark title might yield a darker ending.

Lord Voldemort winning perhaps?

I think it sounds a bit ‘heavy’. I don’t know, just strange. And I don’t really get what it means.

lol. I feel the same. I think maybe it's because I don't understand it that I don't like it. Fear/hate of the unknown, lol.
