WOW. Am I going crazy or does this actually look good...

Ok, I'm going on an obsessive compulsive streak again and it's actually freaking me out b/c I'm REALLY REALLY excited about the movie, Hannibal Rising, even though it's all blood and gore and horror, shich I usually stay away from. But the guy! OMG, I love the way he talks. It's this slow, drawl, and the accent....*drool* He's not bad looking ( Read more... )

Oh goodness gracious... it's safe to say I will be going to see this film. That actor looks fabulous! Of course, I'm sort of obsessed with Hannibal Lecter as a character, and think he's wonderful. After all, he really only kills people who deserve it... right? Ahem. Anyway, thanks for sharing this!

Doesn't the trailer blow your mind? I'm telling you, Sophiax, that trailer is driving me up a wall. I've watched it at least 10 times already in the last three days. The dramatic music, the great scenery, GASPARD ULLIEL. omg. kill me now. I'm dying from anticipation.

That actor looks fabulous! Doesn't he look yummy? Ok, I admit, he looks kinda freaky in some of the scenes, but that just adds to the brilliance of the film. And that voice! OMG the voice and the damn accent! And the way he says 'inspector'. *shiver ( ... )

Oh my gosh! HaHA I was totally thinking, 'this guy is like Tom Riddle' as well!! Don't worry Rara, you're not the only one with a thing for evil fictional criminals. There are some major similarities, I believe, between Lecter and Voldemort, at least our version of the V who is cunning and evil and sadistic and yet somehow brutally fair in his pragmatism.

Oh, but I was angry in the film 'Hannibal' when they totally changed the ending from the book. If you read the book, the ending was the most twisted, romantic, wonderful thing, and the film just did a 180. Clarice Starling plus Lecter equals love! I suppose they thought the general public couldn't digest it... so to speak.

Gaspard (such a cool name) really does seem like he'll do the part justice. And the blood? Off the hand? Licking? Erm, yeah that was like the hottest thing ever. I replayed it, in fact! Maybe I need serious help... but no. Healthy interest in the dark side. That's all. Heh. XD

So true! I don't know why, but I end up comparing every evil villain I read about to Voldemort. I guess it just comes with the close connection
to Voldie since I write him. :D

I know! What happened to the girl power where she seduces him?!?! fjdkfjkdj!!! *angry glare at producers*

Clarice + Lector DO equal love...hehe. Maybe if the movie turns out good, I'll end up writing some Hannibal fanfiction. Just for a change.

The actor does look amazing, and that accent=love!

I really do think our conversations come back to haunt us. Remember how I told you the other day I have a weakness for bad boys...yeah, young Hannibal definitely falls into that category. That accent is truly killing me. I don't think I've ever heard anything quite so enticing. And the scary expressions on his face just adds to that edge of danger.

I really don't know at this point, if it's the movie, the book character, the actor, the music or the trailer that has me going crazy and bouncing up and down at this point. There's just something...darkly enchanting about this movie.

Honestly, I usually detest blood and gore, so I have no idea why I'm so excited...usually the sight of blood is enough to make me woozy...

Oh, I love those movies. The greater part of the films I watch are horrors. I even watched Hostel, and you know what? It didn't affect me that much.

lol. oh I'm too scared to watch Hostel. I usually stick to light and fluffy. I have nightmares if I watch anything too scary. It comes from having too much imagination as a child. I remember this one time I watched Jaws, and I couldn't fall asleep w/o getting nightmares for a week after that.

Yup. blood and gore scare the shit outta me. Oh, well. I think I'm ready to try it again...if everything else fails, I'll just focus on the nice looking guy and ignore the fact that he's stabbing people with knives. hehe. XD

Wow! The Hannibal Lecter was actually young! ;) I couldn’t even imagine such a movie… I saw all three films but this one seems to be far more frightening and gory than its predecessors. But you’re right! The guy is absolutely devilishly fantastic!

I've only seen Silence of the Lambs and half of Red Dragon. I loved Silence of the Lambs! Anthony Hopkins is just beyond words in his acting. He has such a presence...GAHH. But Gaspard Ulliel, the guy playing young Hannibal seems good too, from the previews at least.

But you’re right! The guy is absolutely devilishly fantastic!

I love his voice. ♥ It's got this soft yet steely and unnerving quality about it mixed with sophistication. lol. I've been going crazy about this guy for the last few days. He seems to follow in Anthony Hopkin's steps pretty well.

*squee* so excited!

isn't it, darling? This preview is the end-all, be all of all previews. The music, co-ordination and everything is perfect down to the t.

I'm such a sucker for trailers...hehe. It's sad but true.

I don't think that it's sad. :) The trailers are better than the movies sometimes, anyways.

By the way, would you beta a drabble for me? I just poured the thing out somehow, and I want your opinion on it.
