Hello and welcome to RARA X AVIS. Rara avis means "rare bird" in Latin. This phrase not only parallels my own personality and relations with the rest of the world, but also that of my favorite animal: the penguin. The one in the header up there is named Orestes, Oreo for short. He is relatively excitable and runs around in my head quite a bit
